Instructional design & technology
Dr. Kamakshi Rajagopal is a senior researcher in instructional design and technology at itec. She has extensive experience in practice-based research, working together with teachers and educators in primary, secondary and higher education, to make technology solutions for their problems. A linguist specialised in computational linguistics (KU Leuven, 2004), she has designed and developed several practical web-based tools and instruments to support learning activities in professional settings.
Her research focus is on continuous professional development through networked learning strategies (such as the design and support of personal learning networks).
She is currently working on the i-Learn project where she researches school change through digital personalised learning, on the BHC21 project where she’s looking at the potential of innovative learning technologies in industrial training and on developing technological supporting for reflection in pupils and students.
Increase the development of social innovation applications in order to make more efficient and effective local services to address the key societal challenges in the 2 Seas area.
