Alireza Gharahighehi is a senior researcher in itec, imec research group at KU Leuven. He is mainly working on personalization and recommendation systems in media applications. His main research areas of interest are news recommendation, beyond accuracy evaluation and cold-start problem in recommender systems. Apart from his research work at itec, Alireza is also involved in the advanced master of Artificial Intelligence in Business and Industry at the KU Leuven campus Kulak in Kortrijk.
Our team ‘belfaction’ competed for the DREAM Olfactory Mixture Similarity Predictions Challenge. We are so proud that we have achieved the first place amongst 22 teams from across the globe!
